To-do list: Zombiewalk

So there we were driving back through Vancouver to catch a flight home from our quick biz trip trip to Whistler, BC when--stopped at a light--I noticed a large gathering of people in front of the Vancouver Art Gallery.

At least I thought they were people.

Zombies on the loose in Vancouver. Cool.

Turns out they were the undead. Zombies to be precise.

Apparently, there is a worldwide phenomenon of these so-called Zombiewalks, wherein anybody who wants to participate puts on their best fake blood and Gothy makeup, meets at a centralized point, then stomps around making groany noises. Fucking brilliant. I want to do it and it looks like San Fran has at least one according to (of course) zombiewalk.com.

The picture above is one I hastily snapped as we pulled away and therefore not very good. The vid below gives you a better feel for what it's like.
